    Description

    Position Overview

    As Sales Director, you will play a key role in the company’s development and will work closely with the Management Board. You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, strengthening sales processes, developing new business opportunities and supporting profitable growth across both national and international markets.
    The role requires a hands-on, business-oriented leader able to combine strategic vision, operational discipline and strong team management.

    Key Responsibilities

    Leadership & Strategy

    • Share responsibility for the company’s commercial performance alongside the Management Board.
    • Contribute to profitable growth through structured sales strategy and execution.
    • Define and implement sales plans to achieve revenue, margin and market development objectives.
    • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, industry trends and competitor movements.
    • Strengthen the company’s market positioning and support long-term business development.
    • Manage and develop a portfolio of products and brands, ensuring each contributes to growth targets.

    Sales & Business Development

    • Lead commercial activities across domestic and international markets.
    • Develop new customers, channels and geographic opportunities.
    • Improve export sales performance and contribute to a significant increase in international revenue.
    • Build, maintain and develop long-term relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners.
    • Represent the company at selected professional events, trade fairs and business meetings.
    • Ensure effective commercial follow-up, negotiation and conversion of key opportunities.

    Team & Operations Management

    • Lead, coach and motivate the sales organization.
    • Develop team performance through clear objectives, regular follow-up and talent development.
    • Improve sales processes, order management and customer relationship management practices.
    • Ensure proper use of CRM tools and commercial reporting.
    • Work closely with internal teams, including product management, marketing, operations and production.
    • Align the product offer with customer needs, market expectations and business priorities.
    • Manage budgets effectively and implement pricing strategies that support profitable growth.
    • Secure business transactions with a strong focus on margin, quality of execution and customer satisfaction.

    Exigences

    Candidate Profile

    • Solid experience in a technical, industrial or B2B products environment.
    • At least 10 years’ experience in senior sales leadership roles.
    • Proven track record in managing national and international sales activities.
    • Demonstrated ability to improve export performance and open new markets.
    • Experience in managing distributors, key accounts and/or multi-channel sales networks.
    • Strong business acumen, with the ability to combine growth, profitability and operational discipline.
    • Experience working in an international or group environment would be a strong advantage.

    Languages

    • Fluent English, both spoken and written, is required.
    • French would be an advantage.

    Location

    The position is based in France and requires regular presence on site, as well as travel in France and internationally.
