    Description

    As Sales Director, you will hold shared management responsibility for Virax together with the Management Board, driving commercial excellence in France and across international markets.
    • Leadership & Strategy
      • Full P&L responsibility alongside the Board, ensuring profitable growth.
      • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve defined targets and deliver continuous business growth.
      • Identify new market potential, industry trends, and competitor activity to strengthen Virax’s positioning.
      • Grow and manage the product portfolio across multiple brands, ensuring each brand meets its growth targets.
    • Sales & Business Development
      • Lead sales activities to expand into new markets and customer segments.
      • Manage export sales performance and implement strategies to significantly increase international revenue.
      • Establish, maintain, and develop long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
      • Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to enhance visibility and network opportunities.
    • Team & Operations Management
      • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team; ensure talent development and performance management.
      • Optimize sales processes, order management, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
      • Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and production to align product portfolio with market needs.
      • Ensure efficient use of budgets, implement targeted pricing strategies, and secure profitable business transactions.

    Requirements

    • Industry Background: Solid experience in the tools or related industrial sectors.
    • Experience: At least 10 years in senior sales leadership, with proven success in managing national and export sales organizations.
    • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to significantly improve export performance and expand into new markets.
    • Leadership: Value-based leadership style, strong people management, and motivational skills.
    • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written); French is an advantage.
    • Location: Willingness to relocate to Épernay, France.
